Hallucinado is a massively prolific rock band currently wreaking havoc on Austin, Texas. The two members of the band began collaborating several years ago and have grown into a solid songwriting and performing unit. Thanks to a small home studio, Hallucinado have been fortunate enough to cut over 100 demos in the past year. And that's just the beginning. Hallucinado have the privilege of being driven by one uniquely and extraordinarily talented songwriter in Mark St. Clair. Combine that with his powerful singing voice and natural performing ability, and the band has something special in their hands. The other half of this unstoppable collaboration is Bill Cooke. Bill is a classically trained percussionist with a strong background in music theory. He is the man who helps Mark find the structure and context of his ideas, and add the big beats for more color. This combination is successful on the strength of their ideas, and their ability to execute them so effortlessly. The sound varies from folk to punk to everything in between. Influences include Iron & Wine, Woody Guthrie, John Lennon, Eminem, Bob Dylan, Butthole Surfers, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Elliott Smith, and Nirvana to name a few. Hallucinado are able to take these influences and create something that's not derivative, but wholly original. The band is strong and excited about whatever the future may hold!
