A true Northlander, Halo Muzic (Jesse) was born and raised in Duluth. Not only does he sing, but he is also well known for his dancing. Here’s a little preview of what you’ll be able to hear on Sunday at 9am on Locals Only: - Laura Peterson - Mix 108
Halo Muzic was by for the St Jude Radiothon and I posted a little of his performance, and some of his video. Sometimes when you are on the radio, you only get a little time to talk. So I invited him to come back and talk at lenth about his career and where it started

Halo grew up in Duluth, Minnesota and music was something of an immediate interest to him. At age 3 he started singing in his home church, and was quickly asked to sing in many other churches in his area as well.
He started playing other instruments in grade school and soon realized that music was something he was born to do. A big dreamer, Halo often aspired to be the big artists he would watch on TV or at concerts he would attend.
Living with the motto “I will not back down, I won’t give up”, he also found dancing as a passion. Putting countless hours in to practicing this new art, he was quickly recognized for his skills and talents. After attending an audition in Florida, he was scouted by several agencies and was eventually signed with MSA as a professional dancer/model. This opportunity landed him in L.A. where he met several people in the music industry. One year latera family change caused him to move back home where he continued to perfect his craft. Never letting circumstances get in the way of his passion, he continued to network and use his skills to grow as an artist.

Bio
Halo Muzic comes from a family of musicians living in the northern port city of Duluth, MN.
Duluths icy harbor is frequented by huge ocean liners bound for all corners of the
globe. Now, it seems Duluth is ready to send Halo out with a sound and a message for
the world.
Halos musical journey began as a young boy. He was born into a family of musicians.
Like so many other pop artists, he was brought up singing in church, where he also
learned to play the guitar, piano, and drums. It wouldnt take long for Halo to realize that
he wanted to dedicate his life to making music.
A love of pop music led Halo to a discovery that completely rocked his world: dancing.
Dancing became an addiction. He began to seek out local break dancers, dance
instructors, videos, and anyone who could help him improve. Eventually, Halo went to
Florida to audition for talent scouts and was signed by MSA as a professional dancer
/model. This experience led him to seek greater professional opportunities in Los
Angeles. Halo held to the motto, I will not back down. I will not quite. He was rejected
over 100 times before getting a break in L.A.
Halo did some work as a dancer in California and then returned home with contacts,
experience, and a greater determination than ever to pursue his dreams. He opened his
own dance studio, Chozen Studioz, in Duluth and continued to set his sites high.
His forth-coming album is the result of years of passion, dedication, and faith. This new
album speaks to everyone. Its brimming with heart pumping anthems of perseverance,
hope, and faith.
