Everyone living in our pork-fried world needs a slab of HAM. HAM comes from London and America (betcha didn't learn that in school!)...HAM is all about solid songs, performed honestly with a handmade twist.
Ken Rose is an original L.A. surfer-slacker-dude who has a knack for finding the brighter side of life's stains. Joe Cang (he has a sunny side too) carries the London fog with him in a ziplock baggie.
HAM is acoustic. HAM rocks. HAM is spaced out and digs for truffles. HAM is high in cholesterol and makes you thirsty. The debut HAM record, Bluffing With Integrity (mid-Nov. 2005 pre-release), is spitting on the griddle. Without formula, the majority of the album was recorded live in world record time, HAM is all about having no creative boundaries. HAM sizzles. HAM can burn if you don’t pay attention. HAM is addictive. HAM is suitable for both vegetarians and porkers. HAM is basting up for the road and will be on your table soon...DIG IN!
Ken Rose and Joe Cang (pronounced Sang) have known each other since 2000...Only God and the mighty Dinkel know why they waited five years to start a band. The two artists met at London’s celebrated Kashmir Club, where Joe was performing. After the show Ken introduced himself, said he dug his work, and that he had a good feeling regarding a collaboration. Basically, it took five years of “what-iffing” and four weeks of writing and recording to bring this piglet to life. Ken and Joe are huge fans of “real” music with influences coming from all over the place...
In a nutshell - HAM sounds like a light grey suicide sunshine smile.
