Hand in the Attic is a Seattle-based independent folk-rock band that echoes influences like Neutral Milk Hotel and M. Ward. HITA's trademarks include intricate and resonant harmonies, ear-catching and out-of-the-box instrumentation, and a strong grasp of dynamics that make even their simplest songs soar.
Based on the strength of its 2013 debut album, the band has played successful shows at Columbia City Theater, Tractor Tavern, Sunset Tavern and Conor Byrne Pub in recent months.
