These days it is hard to distinguish between each band that is played on the radio across the United States.  With the recent release of “the silence begins…”, hand honey is on the way to the top and ready to prove themselves worthy with great songwriting and a high energy show.  Formed in August 2001, these four musicians from Panama City, FL have been touring the tri-state area for past two years now.  Their first EP “Crazy Palm Mute” has sold over 900 copies since its release in May 2002. Their recent release has sold over 1000 copies and still rising.
Since July 2004, hand honey has been in regular rotation on New Rock 97X in Panama City, FL. hand honey is also played outside of their hometown, including radio stations such as X101.5 (Tallahassee, FL), Gulf 104 (Tallahassee, FL), The Fox 97.3 (Albany, GA), and 96.7 The Buzzard (Greenville, SC). hand honey has shared the stage with such acts as Saliva, Trust Company, Element Eighty, One Less Reason, No Address, Big Dismal, Socialburn, Across Five Aprils, Celebrity, Don’t Die Cindy, Caldwell, Cloud Ten, & Stickboy.
hand honey plans to tour the southeast in support of their new album.  The music that hand honey writes is from heart and appeals to all fans of music.  Some influences include Incubus, Jimmy Eat World, My Chemical Romance, Underoath, Taking Back Sunday, The Used, Alien Ant Farm, Fall Out Boy, Finch, Foo Fighters, & Coldplay.
