Hank Henny drops his new video from his debut mixtape entitled “F.O.C.U.S.” which stands for, Follow One Course Until Successful. The concept of the video is to look at the big picture in life.
“Everything we have in front of us, was designed. The crab in the barrel mentality was designed. We have to get past that if we want to make change.” Hank Henny states.
With that mentality Hank decided to put his emotions into song and visual and help put the youth on to some “Game”
Hank drops a few jewels in the video and put people on to some “game” with bars like “you still playing that tough role/ that Semi-Auto won’t save your soul/ Margiela’s don’t make your rich n*^$a/ every time I see you I still see a b*#%* n*$%%a”, meaning you think material things and the hood mentality makes you a real person but in reality it doesn’t change who you are within.

Hailing from a neighborhood called "Uptown" in Philadelphia, hip-hop MC, Hank Henny uses his own personal experiences to paint pictures that inspire his listeners to not follow in his footsteps. With the majority of his music produced by his college buddy, Melvin Darrell, Hank is able to bring a unique sound to the forefront, rapping over what he described as "qwerky" production with melodic guitar rifts and bright sounds.
His love for making music derived from a dark place in his life. "I used to drink a lot and I started going overboard. One night I got so belligerently drunk that I broke my hand and didn't realize it until I woke up the next morning. My close friend told me that I needed help, so from there I decided to quit drinking and instead pick up a pen." Hank used music to resist the urge to drink which he paints a vivid picture of in his rhymes.
With his captivating live performance, Hank has made a name for himself performing at popular venues around Philadelphia such as Milkboy, World Cafe Live and Voltage Lounge. He's also been featured by Philly's number one hip-hop radio station, Boom Philly,
In 2016 Hank completed his debut mixtape 'Follow One Course Until Successful' (FOCUS) which highlights people's attraction to success, but also the distractions that interfere with the goal of attaining it. Hank is currently in the studio working on his sophomore release titled 'This Jawn is Outta Pocket.' This is a project to showcase Hank's versatility as well as different talented artists within the Philadelphia area who are featured on the 'Philadelphia slang' based project.
