Bio

Influences, Hanna has none! Hanna is influenced by real life, by nature, by stories I've heard. Not other artists in the field. Hanna keeps it real and true.

Hmmm, what sets Hanna apart from other bands you ask? I'm NOT afraid to give you the 100% truth. Plain and simple! These things I write are genuinely from the deepest darkest parts of my heart, and some of them from the happiest most joyful depths and memories within the cage of my very own beating heart. Let's make this simple, if you were to come across the journal I keep, you'd find entries that could relate to all of my songs. The songs I write can vary from tragedy to happiness to loss then right back down to tragedy. People enjoy sad songs, they like to know how others feel because possibly they feel the same way and they can relate. I'm not just another pop artist who sings about the girl who falls in love with the captain of the football team and they live together forever, BLAH BLAH BLAH! That is NOT how real life is, I write about "real" life, not a fairytale you have seen in your dreams. Hanna keeps the music real and honest.

Aubriana Fumagali(yours truly) has been playing piano since she was the age of six years old, she has never given it up. Some point in my early childhood my family had purchased a Wultzer grand piano to go in the living room, where you can find me everyday after school until hours after the sun has gone down. My first breakthrough in vocally performing was at my grandfather's funeral about six years ago, where I performed "Silent Night" at Saint Mary's Church in New Castle, PA. My family always knew I wanted to be a performer but that even really gave them a feeling we could get somewhere.
The whole meaning of the name of this project is based off an experience I had at an outward bound camp in the summer of 2008 located in Hanna, Utah. That summer changed me as a person, tremendously. So in honor of the experience I named my project after the great adventure I went through out there. After that summer of 2008, Hanna has been writing and playing shows non-stop and continues to do so this very day.
Hanna is not designed to be just another "band", it's meant to be a movement to help kids my age realize that anything is possible if you work for it. Also to remind them when it feels like that life has fallen on top of you that there is still hope for you to rise again.
Hanna is hope. Hanna is perseverance. Hanna is music. Hanna is inspiration. Hanna is the truth brought right to you. Hanna is the new generation ready to make some changes.
