Bio
You cant really say she sounds like anyone youve ever heard before but somehow you feel like youve known these songs all your life.
Hannah Scott has been writing music since her early teens but it was a year spent in Tuscany that inspired her to start performing more seriously.
Hannahs lyrically intelligent songs and distinctive voice were first showcased on her 2007 album, Till Angels Fall, which gained her national airplay and a solid fanbase. A year on and 200 solo gigs later, she joined forces with musician John Carden and together they released two EPs, Falling into spring and the self-titled Hannah and the boy, went on tour to Italy and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Their friendly rivalry couldnt help but charm their audiences!
Hannah and John mutually agreed to part company in autumn 2010, heralding the return of Hannahs passionate solo work which has attracted interest from Kenny McGoff (formerly EMI Publishings Head of A&R) and gained her support slots with folk favourites Cara Dillon and Megson.
Late 2010 will see Hannah travel back to Italy to meet up and coming producer, Raffaele Abbate, with a view to working together on her latest and most powerful material yet.
