Hanne Kolstø

Hanne Kolstø is a restless singer/songwriter who never ceases to surprise. She finds hidden melodies in forgotten music boxes and discarded synths. Live she fascinates with her reckless loopstation treatment, and weaves large, complex images of sound in front of the eyes of an ever growing audience. Grown up in the alps of northwestern Norway is imprinted in her music, and even in the most beautiful popsongs there's always a hint of desperation and alienation in her mystic, upolished voice.
