"José Alfredo in rytms of jazz!"

Mexico City .- On a visit to the capital of our country, this New Year, the Norwegian singer Hanne Tveter visited the editor of EL SOL DE MEXICO to make it known that from March, her new album " titled CruXando Fronteraz" will be released in Norway and later on world wide. Hanne Tveter and her group recreates traditional well known Latin American music, injecting a dose of jazz, a wide range of her norwegian folk song repertoar, and a fusion of traditional instruments of their nation and the lyrics of our great authors such as José Alfredo Jiménez and Cuco Sánchez, plus other méxican themes
of public domain as "The Witch", and "La Llorona". Hanne Tveter sings for México! - El Sol De México (México)

"What a fantastic result!"

Hanne Tveter has a close relationship with both Norwegian and Mexican culture. She has released a new double album: The first release is Latin American traditional music in its original language, the other album is the same music in Norwegian, and Norwegian traditional music in a Norwegian-Mexican tone suit.

What a result! Firstly Tveter clearly show us how much shared folk traditions in both music and lyrics have in comon world wide, especially when we get the Norwegian translations of the spanish lyrics. Translations are both good and rich, Tveter do not lose much of the emotional richness of the Spanish language. To mention some: The text of "Everything is changing" is beautiful poetry, "On the grass" is wonderfully rough around the language and very funny. Strong musical adventures as "The Weeping Woman"and "She" is even richer when we understand what is sung. Tveter voice is full of life, well suited with the voluptuous and passionate arrangements. It is simply terrific! - Romerikes blad (Norway)
