Bio

Happy Little Clouds packs the same kind of surprise punch reminiscent of other 2-member rock bands (i.e. The Black Keys or The White Stripes). HLC is the ultimate hybrid indie band that combines a familiar rock base with soulful, sometimes bluesy female vocals, edgy, crunchy guitar and bouncy rhythms. They play dynamics like a yo-yo and aren't afraid to get quiet until they slap you in the face again with beats that can get even the living dead up and grooving. Passion and good musicality triumph the stage and you'll be sure to have a tune or two stuck in your head after Happy Little Clouds is done caressing your ear drums.

Boston-based indie rock band, Happy Little Clouds, began playing in 2010 when former band-members, Jac Mestel and Alex Toorish, decided to brush themselves off and move forward after their old band broke up. They got out of the attic and have since felt quite at home enjoying the sunlight of Boston.
