Bio
Love, life, heartache, betrayal, and the pursuit of retribution: these subjects entwine and separate in the music of Houston, Texas' own Hardin Store Road.
Hardin Store Road has been on ongoing project of singer/guitarist Mike Hardin since early 2000. Drawing from personal experiences, Hardin's songs are not only emotionally charging, but relevant to broad audiences in that everyone has endured similarly throughout their lives.
Originally an acoustic act, Hardin Store Road played frequently around the Houston area gaining a following of dedicated fans. After several years had passed, Mike Hardin felt it was time to take HSR in a new direction. Armed with an arsenal of songs, he sought out players to transform this project into a full band. Hardin called upon several people he had previously collaborated with, adding Aaron Echagary on guitar and vocals and Charlie Price and Dave Noske on drums and bass, he felt he had created the perfect lineup of not only talent but dedication to take Hardin Store Road to the next level. As this lineup progressed, the band agreed to take their sound to the next level an additional member was needed, it was then that Stephen Nuby joined playing 3rd guitar and keyboards.
Hardin Store Road released its debut release "Written on Glass" during the spring of 2005 and quickly followed up with a West Coast tour during that summer and winter. Future plans for Hardin Store Road include continuous live performances both locally and regionally, touring during the winter, and writing and recording a follow-up release.
