Hard Knox has thousands of hours of playing time together and have played many bluegrass festivals, fairs, parties and other events. We are all lifetime musicians and have LOTS of energy on stage and get our audience involved. Influences are JD Crow, Lonesome River Band, Blue Highway, Eric Clapton, U2, Motown.
We are different in that we play all types of music on bluegrass instruments, including traditional. We are very well rehearsed and "tight".
We met in the Isle of Wight County, VA at a famous jam location and joined as "Hard Knox" with the same members that we carry today. We are like brothers off and on stage. We are passionate about our music and connecting with the audience.
