Bio

To begin, I am originally from Omaha, Nebraska, but located in Raleigh, North Carolina. I started off at the age of 13 doing poetry and rapping as a hobbie. I was real good at poetry but, not that good at rapping. When I entered into highschool, I started rapping more than poetry but I didn't have a studio until I met with a close friend of mine who had a studio. I started taking it serious then, with a style like the artist Twista and Krayzie Bone. Mind you, Bone Thugs N Harmony have been my influences since before I started rapping. With my friend 'Fresh' as my producer, from 2002-2006 I recorded only about 50 to 70 songs and release 3 LPs; Souljacation 101, My Style, Yung Souljaz, that attracted listeners, but they weren't getting anywhere. 2006 was the year that Fresh and I started a group called, "Yung Souljaz" and did 3 talent shows at local schools and 2 shows. As I got older my style progressed and slowed down. By that time I had a little recording experience, and plenty of writing experience. But not as much as I needed. I then met up with a few other song writers/artists that I went to school with and did a couple more shows and not many songs. Our schedule began to get tighter and I left to job corps in early 2007. I graduated from Job Corps in early 2008 recieving my Carpentry License. I didn't do much in 2008 because of my vigorous work schedule but, 2009 I was laid off and I started to focus on music. I then worked with a local entertainment called, Bound Na Get It ENT. I made tracks but didn't release any LPs, or EPs because I wasn't comfortable with how the producer spent his time. I did 1 show at the Sokol Underground in June of '09. Preforming my single "We Here Now", that attracted the whole audience. In August of '09 I moved to North Carolina and things slowed down music wise. I am now working on my next EP called "Me and Only Me", with "Check My Spiff" as the single, and also working on an LP called "My Grind", with the single being the same name as the title. I would say that I sound like me and only me, but what I have heard and listened for myself is that, I have a T.I. delivery and aggression with Lil Wayne Metaphors.
