"Jeremiah"

“…picture your favourite uncle, arriving in the night from a long trip and sitting down in the kitchen with his guitar… telling you stories by singing his songs. Summary: This is an enjoyable CD that just oozes Canadian flavours, like maple syrup on pancakes.” - Bullfrog Music Reviews

"Tom P's review"

“Throughout the album’s 11 tracks, Hardwire demonstrates his solid guitar playing. His blues style captures the essence of that genre. But it’s not just blues – his fingerpicking and tasty lead guitar work suit the moods of the songs by providing interesting textures that don’t overpower….” - CalgarySongwriters.com (no longer available)

"Bruce Hubble"

Smooth and melodic with a sense of experienced song writing. A long time coming but worth the wait.” - CJXF - FM Calgary

Discography

In September 2015 I released the EP "September Winds - The Art of Acoustic Guitar" with newly recorded versions of a few songs and a couple of new songs - all solo instrumental acoustic guitar tunes.

Discovered there was another Neil Speers who was on iTunes before me about this time and released my full length CD "Vol. 1 - Breakfast at Epiphany's" in 2008.

Released my first EP "Continental Breakfast" by Neil D Speers in 2006

In a past life (so to speak) I was a journalist and bring that writer's sensibility to my lyrics along with working hard to create my own voice on fingerstyle guitar.

Won a prize for Best Original Soundtrack for instrumental music I provided for an independent video.
