Harlequin

We are a band that consists of female musicians with tastes that differ greatly in the spectrum of metal/rock music. Our union is an exploration of collaboration between these musical styles, created for the love and sake of true music.

We'll leave our genre up to you.

The band's origin began around November 2009, when guitarist Tawny A. (Necro Butcher) and drummer Neyda U. (Angel) decided to become a two-piece backyard band, jamming out and making music for the sake of keeping their minds sane in today's society. With Neyda's thrash beats and Tawny's melodic skills, the two were creative, but lacked fullness in their songs. Kimberly O. (Kim) soon joined the band in February 2010, automatically enhancing the band's sound and technicality with her own individual style. Even so, the band still lacked their missing piece. Soon after that, as if a prayer had been answered, bassist Rachel S. (Raquel) joined the group around March 2010, finally completing the sound they were all searching for...The sound that is now HARLEQUIN.
