Bio

Harmonia Garden's specialty is blending French Gypsy swing with traditional Hungarian folk music. They call this unique style "Hungarian Django Swing".

The band was formed in 2006 by five talented young men, after graduating from the Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music. Their repertoire includes a wide range of songs and styles, from jazz and bossa nova, to tango, French manouche, and Hungarian csardas. They also perform classic hits (such as „Sunny”, „Carol”, and „Pump up the Jam”) and well-known musical themes from TV and film (The Flintstones, The Godfather, Chocolat), all flavoured with their distinct hybrid sound.

The band creates an exciting and unconventional musical adventure by integrating traditional folk instruments – such as the accordion and cimbalom – into their eclectic harmony.

Members of the band:

Miklós Balog - violin

Viktor Jakab - guitar

Attila Sidooo - guitar

András Pagonyi - accordion

Balázs Földváry - double bass
