Bio

My music is a mix of folk, rock and acoustic original songs, generally influenced by old-time singer/songwriters such as Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Odetta. I have often tried to encorporate layered harmonies into my sets and songs too, generally from influences such as Crosby Stills Nash & Young as well as The Beatles, both early and later work. Having obsessively written both stories and poems from a very young age, I have always found it easier to express a situation, feeling or event through words and specifically rhyme rather than in any other media and very nearly considered simply songwriting for other local bands; though luckily a friend overheard one song I had written and sung and told me otherwise. The majority of my songs have been written on passenger trains and friend's floorboards and vary in seriousness of the message, or there lackof. I am currently 18 years old.
