Biography

"Harrison Fine is a melodic masterpiece" - Fan

That pretty much sums up his approach to music. To describe Harrison's sound, think simple & fluid melodies, inventive hooks, evocative lyrics with a burst of energy. His experience as a producer pushes him to individualize each song through a pallet of changes & stops, arrangements and instrumentation. His goal to indulge each show with emotion, audience participation, vocal & guitar technique leads him to create a live show that he can call his own.

Heavily influenced by Tom Waits, Harrison is utterly determined to think outside the box in almost every avenue he can imagine. He is currently recording a CD with a release expected in the Spring of 2012. With his multi-year experience working in recording studios around Toronto and currently working at his very own, the flavours attached to his debut EP are diverse spanning from Jazz to Blues, Rock to Pop, etc.

However! If there's one avenue Harrison insists he follow, it is his desire to let music come first. "What you see is what you get"!

With his latest endeavour: Indie Week 2011, Harrison Fine has been hitting the Toronto music scene hard with a strong lineup of festivals such as "Fringe", "Then & Now", "Fireside Culture Week" and "the International POP Overthrow". Throughout his career, Harrison has played the late & great "Bread & Circus" & "Big Bop", "The Supermarket", "The Rivoli" twice, "Dundas Square", "The Great Hall" and many others.

Walk on By

Written By: Harrison Fine

I walk along the streets tonight
without ever finding out why
I cannot see a turning point
It's the same old life it seems

There is no one here at all
Just the millions of faces that stand tall
All that I ask is for a wish
For a hug or kiss or a time to take this home

Can i stay here drowning
One more time for me I wish
Seems everthing is open down
And all i wish for is you
Is you

And you walk on by, walk on by, walk on by
And you don't even try, don't even try, your alaby

Another step, a story book
Everyone has a page in it
To each their own and all the luck
No to wishing for happiness and hope

I shouldn't say, I speak again
For the millions of faces that breathe I
See the trend, pleased be me
What the world would be if we gave into our
Hearts

Can I stay here drowning
One more time for me I wish
Seems everything is open down
And all i wish for is you
Is you

And you walk on by, walk on by, walk on by
And you don't even try, don't even try, your alaby

One for luck, to the day
Hope that everyone will say
How they really feel and give into their hearts

Maybe I, do not see
Why it's fun not being me
And we hide inside the feelings that we share

And you walk on by, walk on by, walk on by
And you don't even try, don't even try, your alaby
