Harry Right & The Wannabees is an original and energetic rock/blues band. We write and perform our own songs as well as play cover songs from the 50's thru today. The original sounds are familiar but fresh with influences from Gary Clark Jr., The Black Keys, and The Kings of Leon melded into one unique musical journey that will connect with the audience.

Biography

Harry Right & The Wannabees is a three-piece rock & blues band based out of southeastern Wisconsin. The band is forging their own musical path with a sound that is a natural hybrid of the past and the future of rock & blues. With a great blend of original and well known music they are able to entertain people of all ages and musical tastes.

The group is led by exciting young guitar player and Milwaukee native, Harry Right, whose playing style has been described as powerful and inspired. Harry brings a lot of passion to his performances both with his guitar and his vocals.

The bands rhythm section is a two headed monster. Noah Baker brings the beat and Jay Genske brings the groove. Noah is not just rock steady, he is the boulder by which the rest of the band is built upon. From funky to frenetic, Jay is always setting the mood for the song.

Harry Right & The Wannabees released The Special EP at the end of 2012. The band is currently working on their full length debut album which will be out in Fall 2014.
