Atlanta -- Free-Press-Release.com-- Mar 11, 2013 -- Atlanta, the wait is over.
The Atlanta Music Liberty Fest will be arriving at Center Stage in Mid Town Atlanta for one night only on
SATURDAY April 6th at 3:30pm, as part of the Liberty Fest Tour 2013.
Local Freedom fighters won't want to miss their chance to soak in the full liberty fest experience.
“This is going to be a fantastic event for all of Atlanta and the highlight of this year’s liberty concert season.”
Join us in celebrating and educating the public on liberty. The goal is to unite “We The People” in all of our diversity. We are living in a time where 'United we stand, divided we fall” has never been more prevalent.
The concept of liberty unites people. You will see and hear a diverse body of speakers and talent that will stop you in your path. Perhaps it will remind you of why we're fighting together in the name of liberty..
What does liberty feel like to you? You cannot help but feel it when you join the liberty fests. It breathes it's way through the crowd person to person.
Last year we rolled out a successful Music City liberty Fest on Nov 3rd, 2012 in Nashville, Tennessee. The Liberty Train founders Barbie Dunn and Dan Hagen planned to make Nashville the first of a long line of liberty music fests and they have stayed the course on their vision.
Inspired by the gains made in spreading the ideas of liberty in Nashville, we are planning a more impressive event in Atlanta. While hundreds of people attended Nashville’s festival, with thousands watching the Live Stream of the event we are excited to grow it further in Atlanta! We are looking forward to making a difference by spreading the principles of Liberty on a local and national level.
Atlanta Music Liberty Fest is honored to sponsor a donation drive to help our homeless veterans. "Local Singer Spreads Good Vibes"

Meet Hart Sawyer, the lead vocalist of the band Hart Sawyer & The Love Project, which features Johnny Livemore (drummer), As a graduate of Belmont University for Music Composition and Vocal Performance, she possesses an array of knowledge and talent that’s helped her find her stride in the music arena. Listen to the upbeat “Free Your Mind” and you’ll quickly jump to your feet and start abusing the replay button.

The drummer of The Love Project, Johnny, introduced Hart to a variety of music and artists that she never listened to before and influenced her musical tastes today. Plus, her parents often played music in the serene, wooded Kentucky setting where she grew up. In addition to singing, Hart writes her own songs.

Listen to original “Beautiful Day” below. Her smooth vocals and effortless piano playing is reminiscent of Lana Del Rey (think “Born to Die” and “Video Games”). She said, “Playing the piano as a child played a big role in the way I experienced music.” But she also tries to let her ears take a break every now and then by listening to instrumental sounds and finding her own individual voice.

On January 31st, Hart & The Love Project will play in Athens, GA at Farm 255 and perform at 11 pm. When asked about the Athens music scene, Hart said that she played solo in Nashville and L.A., but Athens has cool venues and even helped facilitate in making the band.

The future looks wide and open for Hart, and she plans on taking each moment as it comes. Her goal — and dream — lies in spreading positive messages to the world and inspiring people. She hopes her music will leave with positive intentions. As a testament to her easy-breezy, good-natured self, she ends with this sweet-hearted message, “I love Earth and all that inhabit it.”

Hart Sawyer & The Love Project are also searching for string players, specifically a Cellist and Violinist. Visit their website for more songs and events! - FlagPole Magazine (the CW 69)

"Night of rising bands includes Hart Sawyer & The Love Project"

Hart Sawyer & The Love Project
Hart Sawyer has spread the love all over the Southeast.
The Kentucky-born singer-songwriter moved to Athens after earning a music degree from Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn.
“A lot of people are like, ‘Why did you move from Nashville?’” Sawyer said. “But I’m not country music. I ended up in Athens, and I love this town, actually.”
Love is a familiar theme for Sawyer, who said she turned to introspection to understand how she perceived her world.
“I started kind of, I guess you could say, going down the spiritual rabbit hole and working on myself,” she said. “I realized that everything boils down to love and fear in the world, and I started making choices out of love and not out of fear and doubt. It started changing my perception into a much happier one.”
Sawyer’s dedication to love is evident in the name of her band, which consists of drummer Johnny Livemore, guitarist Cheyne Quinter and bassist Christopher “Dede” Giddens.
“I’m not exactly sure when The Love Project happened,” she said. “But it was probably a conversation with my drummer about how everything I do in life, I want it to come from a place of love and compassion. And music is an avenue for me to do that, lyrically or musically.”
Sawyer described her sound as diverse, ranging from her SoundCloud techno to live performances that elicit comparisons to Alicia Keys, Enya, The Beatles and Coldplay. She combines her classical training with contemporary sounds to create feel-good songs.
“When people ask me what style of music, I usually just say it’s positive message music,” she said.
Sawyer said her songwriting process varies.
“Sometimes I’ll feel an urge to go sit at the piano and play, and sometimes a full song will come out in 15 minutes,” she said. “Like I just had to get it out of my system, in a good way. And sometimes I will hear a melody in my head, and then I’ll go find it on the piano. It’s not robotic — it’s kind of like I go with the flow.”
Sawyer said she doesn’t know how long she’ll stay in town or where she’ll go next.
“I’m following the wind — wherever I’m meant to go,” she said. “I don’t foresee myself living in Athens my whole life, but I really like it for now. It’s a great place for me to grow and develop musically. Everywhere I go, I want to go somewhere new, you know, keep making an opportunity for growth. Wherever I’m meant to be is where I’m going to go.” - RED & BLACK Magazine

Bio

Hart has been composing music since she was a little girl and has been reaching for the stars her whole life.  Growing up along the Kentucky River infused her heart with love for nature and a fascination with melodies and tones and how they effect the human spirit. Beginning piano and classical vocal lessons at age 8, she began to push the boundaries of the small town girl stigma. By also studying jazz, and ballet, she furthered her understanding of the connection between movement of the body and music.

After competing in countless songwriting and modeling competitions in Florida, Kentucky and California, she was always returned to the East coast for more practice and grounding. Looking for the best opportunity to continue growing musically, she enrolled in Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee where she studied many elements of Performing Arts and Classical Music Composition.  She has  recently expanded her horizon upon her recent move to Los Angeles, where she always dreamed of being.

"I want to inspire others to fill themselves with genuine love, food for thought, and the experience of a clear heart. Sometimes we need to stop denying the things that hold us back and make energetic shifts in order to find  balance and happiness."  After taking personal time to study quantum physics, her expansive views on the interconnection of everything  created a desire to offer something deeper than one may expect.
