Founded in 2015 in Athens GA, Harvey Funkwalker forges an effervescent fusion of funky dance grooves, gritty jazz, psychedelic rock, and progressive elements, tipping their hats to such acts as Lotus, Lettuce, Umphrey's McGee, and Snarky Puppy and Lettuce.
Since then, the trio has performed consistently in the Athens area with little regard for stylistic conventions. Their high energy performances deliver shape-shifting whirlwinds of tireless grooves, catchy melodies, incessant experimentation and ever-evolving, earthy jams. The trio's dynamic elasticity, musical mastery and their ability to blend the lines between composition and improvisation set them apart from their peers and keep avid listeners wanting more.
