"Maria Mazzotta sang it with a cutting voice and rising drama, growing more disraught as the window never opened. The song was old; the passion was immediate." - -
"A shivering duo. (...) The vibrating notes of the voice and the cello warmed the atmosphere up while giving to the audience the beauty of enchantment." - -
"A unique voice, deep and full of passion, with Redi Hasa's cello." - -

Bio
HASA - MAZZOTTA - "URA"
Used all around the Adriatic sea, 'URA' means in Albanian -'Bridge'- and in the Salento dialect -'Now'-. Therefore this project is focused on the South Italy and Balkan stories, from the old Europe populations to the migrants from everywhere and every time that Redi and Maria reinterpret with their own sensibility. Experimentation and improvisation are wisely balanced and carve new paths connecting past and present and making music that is both ancient and utterly revitalized. Using live-recorded loops, their musical journey builds itself note after note, melody after melody. This results in a rousing, haunting but sensitive artistic universe, on which spread their virtuosity and high-quality interpretation.Line-up:
Redi Hasa - Cello
Maria Mazzotta - Vocals & tambourine
