Still working on that hot first release.

In a genre where outside musical influence has easily overtaken priority to roots, Hasting & Co.'s founding members Kate Hasting and Josh Beale feel a welcomed responsibility to use other genres as a compliment to their Midwest country sound. “Country music is all about honesty, no matter how brutal,” explains Hasting. “The beauty of our music is in our willingness to be vulnerable for the sake of giving fans an honest taste of our upbringing,” adds Beale. With their move to Nashville, Hasting (originally from Ohio) and Beale (originally from Wisconsin) hit the ground running & formed their previous alliance: The Kate Hasting Band. "This year, we knew it was time for our name to reflects who we've probably always been, and that's Hasting & Co.  Josh and I are a songwriting, performing TEAM, and we are excited for the many changes 2018 has brought", smiles Kate.

In 2013, they released their debut EP “Country Music”, co-produced by award-winning engineer and producer Chad Carlson (Taylor Swift, Trisha Yearwood, Chase Rice) and legendary guitarist Rob McNelley (Kenny Chesney, Carrie Underwood, Jake Owen). In 2015, the band released singles Just Friends, Country Music (reprise) and Behind the Bleachers, all produced by Tyler Smyth (Dangerkids). The video for Behind the Bleachers earned director Nishan Gilmet an Emmy nomination, and was quickly picked up by Great American Country (GAC), The Country Network (formerly ZUUS Country), and several other regional music outlets nationwide. In October, the band released new EP "Can't Get Enough", celebrating the release with a show at Nashville's City Winery alongside fellow artist Collin Raye to benefit their partner organization, the Firefighters Behavioral Health Alliance.

Hasting & Co. performs over 100 shows each year - some highlights for 2018 will be when they take the stage with Brad Paisley, Brett Eldredge, Dwight Yoakam, Neil McCoy, Michael Ray, Joe Diffie and Devon Dawson as part of Cadott, Wisconsin's Country Fest, participate in the Key West Songwriter's Festival, perform in downtown Nashville each night of CMA Fest, and open for Craig Campbell at this year's City Limits Fest!
