"Hate the Kiss love the music!"

“The haunting reality of Nirvana, the dreamy landscape of incubus, the passion of thrice, and the mojo of zeppelin would be the only way to describe this blend of music. Scratch that, this is a sensation of music. It truly lights up all senses and never let’s go. From the opening track lipstick, with its nasty, sexy, angry appeal to anti-teen with its rhythmic anthem feel, this album will move you. Superb vocals, meaningful lyrics, rhythmic guitars, and insane drums make this album an instant hit. I could not take this out of rotation on my ipod. The sixth song fly away has an almost Jimi Hendrix feel, if he played for incubus. This is the first album in as far back as I can remember that I can listen to from front to back and back again. Go buy Hate the Kiss’ album “loud as love” and watch them live before they become too big and stadium seating is all you get.”

Bio

Like the pulsing beat of a heart growing louder and louder, stronger and stronger; Hate the Kiss crept on the scene. They were born in April of 2007. A month after inception Ben and Richard found themselves signed to StoneCrush Records, a small independent record label with a drive to," bring real music back to the people.” Their sound is like nothing you have heard before yet everything feels familiar. It mixes a blend of aggression and love while leaving behind a feeling of hate and longing.
Hate the Kiss performed over a hundred shows together in under a year with Tammy Barnes stepping in on bass and Devin Hoover on guitar. Their skills and musicianship accelerated rapidly with this aggressive schedule. Then the call came to start recording. The music began like the pulse of life. It grew out of nothing and formed into something amazing and unexplainable. The result is their first album titled “loud as love”. This album has all the ingredients of great works of art. It starts strong and ends even stronger. “We have amazingly high hopes for this album, as it is one of the best we have heard.  We’ve hired a well connected P/R firm  to handle all the Public Relations and expect great reviews. Every song has the potential to be the next big thing.” stated the StoneCrush records management.

The record is now available for purchase through Hate the Kiss and the StoneCrush records official web Sites, along with other retail record stores across the nation.  It will also be available for digital download on iTunes, Rhapsody, and Napster in August or September of this year.

The album opens with a voice grunting and groaning, either in agony or desire.. This feeling of lust, love, anger, and unknowing carries on throughout the entire album.

The album is set on a path to destroy all expectations of a non-major label recording. This has the possibility to be that next bridge in the evolution of music. It has the potential to connect indie music released without major label backing and the success of major label artists. Take the opportunity to be a part of this time when it again becomes about the music and musicianship and not about how well you shake your ass or spread make-up on your face. Buy this album and finally raise your fist so high and say open up our sky. Let us in. We want the truth in music back!
