HATFIELD BRASS BAND

Our band is influenced by the passion to let music live. With so many cuts to government funding the music service in doncaster is in desperate need of a helping hand. We as a band aim to "let music live" so despite the cuts in the arts people of all ages can still learn and enjoy performance. On paper we are the best band within our borough having gained championship status and apart from the good quality sounds the band has a community spirit that sets us as a makeshift family aside from other bands.The band was originally a minning band founded by two coal workers in the late 60's. Still retaining the proud name of our foundations we have turned a hobby into a way of life for most of our members.
