Bio

Turn-of-the-Century, Spaghetti-Western, Folk Band with costumes & original & antique film projection. Hard-times tunes of days gone by (economic woes, depression, influenza, murder). The group's audience however finds their rusty lyrics ring a bell with current times. A contrast in both sight & sound, Austinite Eliza Wren's lilting voice pleasantly harmonizes with the raw vocals of small-town-Utah's Nord Anderson. The original film projection includes both narrative & non-fiction stories & images from the duo's travels across the US, Iceland, England & Hungary. Eliza/Nord have been featured: Official band of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games, South by Southwest Music Festival - Austin, TX, North by Northeast Music Festival - Toronto, Welcome band for President Grimsson of Iceland, Sundance Film Festival - Park City, UT, Utah Arts Festival - Salt Lake City, Utah, Anti-Folk Festival - NY, NY. Multi-Media influences include: Tom Waits, Johnny Cash, Ennio Morricone, Days of Heaven, Upton Sinclair, The Wisconsin Death Trip & Historical Events.
