After releasing their first EP for free download in April 2011, Havenstance received over 1000 downloads and public outcry for more music. Havenstance decided to take a few months over the summer of 2011 and release a second album, 'Are You Listening?'
Hoping to continue building off of the success of their initial, self titled offering, 'Are You Listening?' continues to explore new sounds and continues to redefine the band both artistically and spiritually.
The lyrics to the new EP are laced with Christian themes and confessions of faith and Havenstance hopes and prays that this new record reaches even more people in even more parts of the world with a message of love, peace, hope and joy that can only be found through Christ!
Their new single - Peace has already been picked up by mainstream Christian radio and comparions to bands like Switchfoot and Thousand Foot Krutch are both humbling and a blessing. Please enjoy Havenstance!

Havenstance is a five-piece band out of Kitchener-Waterloo, Canada with a distinct and diverse musical expression. Their objective as a band is not playing for glory, fame, fortune, the love of music or any of the other typical reasons bands are formed. They consistently state and stand by their creed: "This band is a platform to promote the freedom found in Christ's unconditional love. Freedom is the Movement." Throughout their lives, each member of Havenstance has faced overwhelming obstacles that they have had to overcome. Two have defied death, the diagnosis of doctors and medical science while another should be completely deaf, yet hears with precision. By speaking openly about their struggles, Havenstance is breaking down the judgmental and self-righteous walls of empty religion and testifying to how amazing and life changing knowing God truly is.
