Lyrics

Left Alone

Written By: Dillon Havins

well I can be reckless
and I make mistakes
I’m not much of a fighter
I wish I was brave

I’m a homeless man
inside my own home
I’m a tin can
kicked around for fun

I’m not afraid to die
I’m not afraid of father time
I’m gonna get some rest
and maybe I’ll be alright

CHORUS
I used to be reckless
but now I see
we’re all fighting
we revel in our misery
we’re all homeless
just skin and bones
and have you noticed
we all say we want love but then we say we wanna be left alone

Do you ever notice people treat you like a stranger when you ain’t part of their clique
running around throwing ashes on the ground this grave digging makes me sick
i wanna live my life I’m tired of your advice but its nothing in the end
we all grow up, go to school, get a job go to work but it’s not gonna get us in

CHORUS

SOLO

CHORUS

yeah you can drag me down, cut me to pieces again
I don’t care, I won’t fall, this is not the end
from dust we were born, from dust we came
to that dust we shall return ‘cause we are all the same
