Hawethorne

The past 12 months have seen Hawethorne break new ground, and be fortunate to play many notable venues, including several appearances at the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern, participating in their first music festival and being invited to add a song to a mass distributed compilation CD. The journey began in 2004, as a collaboration of long time friends Enzo Scarsella (guitar and lead vocals) and Dallas DeCarlo (bass and backing vocal). The addition of Jason O'Brien on drums in September 2006 completed the current line up. Drawing on the ideal that music should be no nonsense, real and energetically charged, 2008 saw Hawethorne come of age and they continue to express their music in this way both in the studio and on stage. Influences include classic rock, folk, blues, jazz and reggae and this can be heard in their expanding catalogue and live performances. Building on the raw energy and synergies gained over the last year, Hawethorne has entered the studio with plans to release their first full length CD.
