Bio

Yeah!!! It's me, ya boy HK which is an acronym for "Hazardous Ken". That's right, "Hazardous" cuz I'm sick and you can take that and run with it. I'm sick with the flow, sick with the bars, and sick of wack rappers, but enough about them let's talk about me. Born June 27, 1986, in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, I came into the world. I'm half black and half jamaican. Alongside an older brother, i was raised in the Fort Greene Projects til the age of 9. My parents were able to move our family to a two family brownstone in the Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn. Though the change of address was good, it was the begining of a tough road ahead. Life started to change for me. Music was always a driving force for me, but i was always told that i should focus on having a career and that music would only be a hobby. In my preteens nothing was more important than cutting schools, girls, just havin fun, and more than anything making money. Selling drugs, and causing havoc were my priorities. I was always intelligent, and a fast learner, but how could i learn if i didn't go to school. By the age of 16, my mom was sick of it and decicded to kick me out of the house place me in an in-house drug program with 30 other people. I was supposed to come back after completion, but two months before my 17th birthday, i left New York and moved to Atlanta... I spent the next 4 years homeless off and on, finding small jobs here and there, and even hustling from time to time to make ends meet. Through those crazy nights, only a pen and pad kept me sane. Hard times nearly reduced me to nothing, but i got myself together and made the move back to New York. I returned with a name, an agenda, and a vow to never fall again.. I moved to Brownsville, BK. Riverdale to be exact!!! I did right by some of my wrongs, kept myself afloat, managed to build a home studio with some help from my father and friends, and set sights on my music career. It's been Hazardous Hitz ever since!!!!!!
