Heartache Tonight is, without a doubt the finest Eagles tribute band in the country. The band performs songs from all eras and all incarnations of the Eagles, including many of the individual member’s solo hits, like Joe Walsh’s “Rocky Mountain Way,” and Don Henley’s “Dirty Laundry.”
Drummer Chris “Bean” Weng’s voice is a dead ringer for Henley’s, while bandleader Tom Carey nails the Glenn Frey songs.
Guitarists Tom O’Brien and Jim Altenbach use a mix of vintage and modern equipment that allows them to replicate exactly all the original Eagles guitar tones, ensuring that each hit song sounds just the way it did when it was first recorded.
Bassist John Forrest and keyboard player Scott Bahry sing the lion’s share of the soaring signature harmonies that made the Eagle’s sound so iconic. The players are experienced professionals who have played virtually every major venue and festival in the Midwest including House Of Blues Chicago, Navy Pier, Ravinia, Wrigley Field, Milwaukee Summerfest and Taste Of Chicago. From the powerful guitar duel in “Hotel California” to the shimmering harmonies of “Peaceful Easy Feeling” Heartache Tonight delivers a true Eagles concert experience in virtually every detail.
