Heartbeats is a collaborative effort of Minneapolis musicians that became producers and decided to produce something unique together. Eric Lovold and Ryan Carrera (formerly of The Alarmists) joined with producers Colin Sheffield and Jason McGlone to create sonically layered rock songs that are somewhere between psychedelia and 80s synth pop. It's rock and roll, post-modern, a blend of all influences, from the Beatles to Bowie, from The Cars to Elvis Costello, Radiohead to Wilco.
Their first 7" is releasing March 17th, and the debut LP is due Summer 2012.
