Bio
Hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, the band was formed in late December 2011 by guitarist Luke Cooper. They exploded onto the music scene in January 2012 with their debut show with Australian bosses, For This Cause and haven't looked back since. After just 3 shows as a band they were taken on a New Zealand tour by For This Cause in May 2012, which consisted of 12 shows in 16 days. This tour sparked interest from Haste Music, gifting the band opportunities they could never have dreamed of. Sporting one of the hardest work ethics in New Zealand rock, the band has built a strong foundation they can build off. The band has been lucky enough to have shared the stage with some of New Zealand's top bands including, These Four Walls, Ivy Lies & In Dread Response. With tour opportunities coming out of every corner, 2012 is set to be a huge year for the band.
Heart Of Kings has started demos for their debut EP produced by Rowan Crowe (Goodnight Nurse) which is set to be recorded late this year.
