Bio
Heather began her career playing the famous Canadian coffee houses of the 70's such as the Riverboat, Bohemian Embassy, and Egertons in Toronto and the Yellow Door in Montreal. She toured across Canada with Motown’s Choker Campbell, and later became highly sought-after on the Toronto R&B scene.
Heather was one of the first to perform at the ‘Women in Blues’ series at Albert’s Hall. She has been honoured to perform with such world-class artists as Blind John Davis, James Brown, Long John Baldry, Otis Clay, Solomon Burke, and Matt "Guitar" Murphy.
Gathering together some of Canada’s musical royalty including Michael Fonfara of Downchild Blues Band and Danny Weiss of Iron Butterfly, a two-year process culminated in her long-awaited CD, “Tell Mama”. Since its release in May 2004, Heather has been a favourite at many Ontario festivals including Blues Skies and the Orangeville and Port Credit Blues & Jazz Festivals.
