Bio
Heather Knox slipped onto the Dallas music scene in 1999 after playing one original song at Club Dada's open mic night in Deep Ellum and soon after secured a semi-finalist position in the annual B.W. Stevenson Memorial Songwriter Competition at Poor David's Pub. This was enough to get her hooked. After 4 years of a full-time job and minimal performing, enough was not enough. She dropped her day gig and started working on her first record which brings together a sweet mix of alternative rock and indie folk, with a touch of lyrical burning passion. Her self-released, sophmore album is a new mix of alt country and rock It hits stores in October.
