- Singer-songwriter Heather Lyn was born in 9th of June, 1991 in San Diego, California, USA. Her birth name is Heather Lyn Norrbom Cobb. She was the only child of her two parents until they split up and married other people in which her dad, Christopher Norrbom and step mother Janelle Norrbom had her younger brother, Nicholas, in 1999. Janelle already had another daughter, Jona, from a previous relationship, also known as Heather's step sister. Her dad, Chris, and step mother, Janelle, both passed away tragically in June 2013.
- Heather has always been quite a ham, and at the early age of 7 or 8, Heather started writing songs and performing them for her family and friends. In 2000, age 11, she won audiences over for her performance of What a Wonderful World at Waldorf Elementary School where classmates, teachers and parents were in complete awe of her outstanding and "powerful" voice coming out of such a tiny little girl. Apart from music, Heather currently studies at Rasmussen College for her Bachelors degree. She graduated with an associates degree in 2013.
- In 2003, at 13 years old, Heather auditioned and was chosen out of 700 participants State wide for Anacrusis All State Choir two years in a row: (2003/age 13) First year - only student chosen at Fredmoore Middle School for Anacrusis All State Choir and was awarded the Musicianship Award from FredMoore Middle School for outstanding musicianship. In 2004, at 14 years old and the second year chosen, Heather was one of two students only - chosen from Fredmoore Middle School for Anacrusis. Heather also continued as a Member of Anacrusis AllState Choir for 2004 and 2005.
- In 2007, Heather Won Miss Jr. Royalty Princess, Coon Rapids, MN. During her Miss Teen Royalty title, Heather began to perform at Senior Citizen Homes in hope it would bring joy the their faces and she continued to perform throughout high school where she enlisted other students at her school to go play at the homes every couple weeks.
- 2007/ age 16/ Heather placed 1st in Teen Division for Singing in Anoka County Fair Talent Contest, performed and won with a song she wrote at age 14 where she then performed at the Minnesota State Fair later that summer.
- In 2012 Heather's song "DANCE" created buzz around the world including many states in the US and created a small fan base in Canada, United Kingdom, and Mexico.
- Heather is currently playing bigger events such as opening for various artists like Trey Songz, Lloyd, Machine Gun Kalley (MGK), Lloyd, Keyshia Cole, Tyga and many others. She often plays at local bars and event centers like Aqua Nightclub, Epic Event Center, First Avenue, and various fairs.
