I’m just a small town girl who grew up with one hope, one wish, one ambition, one dream; to sing! It wasn’t until I sang a solo in church at the tender age of seven that I began to realize this was much more than a dream; it was a calling! I remember what it felt like looking out at the congregation and seeing tears flow from their eyes knowing that they had been touched and moved and broken, not because of my performance but because through me God was touching them. It was and is a feeling that can’t be described by words or matched by any form of affirmation. I knew I was given a gift by God to be used for God! This was to be my ministry. My prayer is that I can be an instrument for God to use to usher in the Holy Spirit to show the broken-hearted, the lonely, the angry, the lost and the hopeless that there is a Savior in Christ Jesus. I am honored and blessed that God would choose to let me serve Him in this way.
