Bio
Heather Schuck was born in raised in Delphos, Ohio, a small, rural town in Northwest Ohio near the Indiana border. She began developing a passion for singing in the third grade after performing in a class talent show. Throughout elementary school she was part of various youth choirs and began taking voice lessons in the 7th grade after the death of her grandfather. This was also the year she joined the cantor rotation at the Catholic Church she was a member of.
Heather continued her singing and lessons throughout high school, where she was also a member of choir, Girl’s Ensemble, Show Choir and Mass Schola. During these years she began to sing at funerals at her Church and by her senior year she was singing weddings.
In 2005 she graduated high school and went on to study journalism at Ithaca College in Ithaca, NY. The second semester of her freshman year she picked up a BA in Music as a second degree and has began studying voice under Kelly Samarzea and later Dr. Lee Steward. Heather will be graduating in December 2009 and hopes to move to the Carolinas, where she will hopefully be able to work full time and become involved with a music community in whichever city she ends up.
