Bio

Down-to-earth singer/songwriter Heath Green has established himself as a musician’s musician. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, Heath began his musical journey as the front man for several local garage bands. In 1991, Heath formed the band Mudpie. After releasing a few EP’s, this blues-rock quartet independently released the full length album Lay Some Bread on Me in 1999. Heath and the band took their infamous live show on the road performing in every hot night spot throughout the southeast. In 2001, Heath decided to make his mark as a solo artist. Throughout the years, many adoring people have come to hear the raspy, soulful vocals of this multi-instrumentalist. Whether performing solo, with his band The Starmakers or any one of his musician friends, Heath has truly mastered the art of live music. Heath independently released six solo albums/EP's prior to his 2007 release, Sweet Justice. Some of Heath’s favorite artists/influences are Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Otis Redding and Leon Russell. With Sweet Justice, Heath has released his best effort to date. Bored and restrained, Heath set out to record something original and distinct. Filled with truthful vocals and undeniable music, Sweet Justice is his contribution.
