Bio

The group began in 2003 as a cover band composed of Benoit Dieu, Salvatore Mongiovi, Jean-Philippe & Thierry Verplaetse.
At the end of 2004, Salvatore went abroad and was replaced on bass by Fred Pearlkins. The group took the name Crawling Kings.
From September 2005, after playing the sounds of artists like Jeff Buckley, Coldplay, and Porcupine Tree, they began to compose their own songs, not an easy task given the mix of musical horizons contributed by the four boys.
Indeed, their musical tastes vary from pop (A-ha, Live,…. ), to progressive rock (Marillion, Pendragon, Porcupine Tree,…), blues (Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Joe Bonamassa, Buddy Guy,…), rock (Beatles, Doors,…) and even hard rock (Metallica, Tool,…). However, the group benefits from the varied contributions of its members.
Drawing always from their differences, they’ve developed a repertoire ranging from slow to sometimes harder pieces.
Their musical style comes close to pop rock, but with a very characteristic and melodious sound.

This assembly of various musical influences brought them to change their name to Jigsaw, an assembly of puzzle pieces.
However, after discovering that another Belgian group had already taken that name a few years before, they opted for the name HEAVEN ICE DAY.

The musical mix of HEAVEN ICE DAY offers a repertoire that is unique and varied.
