Bio

We are greatly influenced by Led Zeppelin, one of the greatest rock and roll bands of all time. We are devoted to reproducing their songs as close to the originals as possible, but with a certain sophisticated, feminine vibe. We have a lot of fun doing it too and are popular among young and old alike.

ABOUT THE BAND MEMBERS:

Monique is the former lead singer for KROQ sweethearts "Save Ferris". It has been said that her voice can "open the heavens." Hearing is believing and you will not be disappointed!

Abby- born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona, started playing music at age 8 when she took up violin. At age 15, she decided to learn guitar and has been playing guitar ever since. Abby graduated from New School for the Arts in 2003 (a charter arts high school) as a music major, then spent two years studying guitar and studio/live sound recording at Scottsdale Community College. In 2004 she moved to Hollywood in order to attend Musicians Institute, and graduated from MI with an associates degree in guitar performance. She currently teaches guitar and also serves at an instructor at summer music camps for children. Music has always been a big part of her life, and she intends to keep it that way!

Renee, a native of Southern California, has had the good fortune to perform in a number of original and cover bands over the years. From soft rock to heavy metal, she has done it all, and is grateful for each and every musical opportunity that has come her way. Being both a bassist and keyboardist and sometimes torn between which instrument she would rather be playing, Heavenly Led provides Renee with the perfect opportunity to play both instruments within the confines of a single band. As a musician, composer, sound engineer, and classic rock devotee, she greatly appreciates the opportunity to perform with this group of amazingly talented ladies in paying tribute to Led Zeppelin, one of the greatest rock n’ roll bands of all time.

Brian, a UCLA student and native of San Diego, has been playing drums and percussion for 7 years. He has an open mind to playing all types of music and his goal is to become as advanced and versatile in as many styles as possible. He recently moved to Los Angeles and has put his faith in finding work in the biggest music scene on the West coast. Brian took drum lessons for almost 4 years from Rodney Zinnen (a talented jazz-based/rock drummer from Chicago) in San Diego. He also took lessons in Afro-Cuban percussion from Juan Sanchez (Cuba) in San Diego and studied music theory under Dan Ratelle (Mesa College, San Diego) and John Czajkowski of Hectic Watermelon (San Diego). In the past few years he has collaborated with musicians in a wide range of influences to keep himself motivated towards versatility. Brian strives to open himself to as many styles as possible. He doesn't believe in limiting himself, and loves to play everything he can. To keep up with thematic versatility, at a younger age he began playing with various church bands and gospel music; a nationally recognized touring female jazz/pop show choir (Sound Unlimited); a top 40's band; numerous small rock projects; a death metal band; and an instrumental progressive rock duo focusing on odd and irregular meters - all of which really took his drumming to a new level. Since moving to Los Angeles, he has played with many different musicians to keep his versatility and professional work ethic constantly evolving. Some projects he has had the pleasure of being a part of include (roughly chronological): - An alt-country band: Betty Dylan - A 4-piece hard rock outfit: Bledsoe (Now called The Hot Gates) - Energetic dance-rock quartet: Killer Kaleidoscope (aka LoveToys) - A female-led/acoustic guitar folk-tribal-pop group: Ella G'Sell - Female vocalist/lead guitarist indie originals: The Meemies - Up-and-coming artist, licensed by MTV: Cassie Zambrano - Heavy, hard, powerhouse of tasteful metal: Supervillain - Roots-rock, multi-talented songwriter: Jon J - Heavy rockers making a big name for themselves: Art of Chaos, which is ongoing so be sure to check them out . . . and of course (insert drum roll here) Heavenly Led!
