Formed late 2009, HeavyArms began as a project between members of various local bands to create fast, abrasive music between like-minded friends, with a pension for off-time signatures and distinct riffs. From their "do-it-yourself" attitude, they found themselves slowly gaining an underground reputation as an unrelenting force to be reckoned with. Seven self-booked tours and one EP later, they are now releasing their long-awaited debut album, “Burning Crowds,” via Myriad Records. With this album, they have shown that their growing process is far from over and are consistently pushing the boundaries of what is acceptable noise.
