Hector Jorge Ruiz, born January 15, 1988 in Ciego De Avila, Cuba, better known by his stage name Hecto, is a rapper/songwriter.? He arrived in the U.S (April 20, 1999) at the age of eleven. In 2010 he co-founded Phoenix Room Music Group in Nashville, TN. Since then, he has collaborated with many artists on various projects. His first project “Immigrant”
(a 6-song EP) was released in September 2012. He’s currently working on his sophmore album, and preparing for a 2013 tour.
