The guys of Hedway were busy playing in four rounds of the March Mess Battle of the Bands through Febuary at the Aftershock Bar and Grill in Merriam Ks. A suburb of Kansas City. After the smoke cleared from over thirty bands Hedway was left standing as the winners. Second place went to Beneath the Surface and third to Madd Libby. All three will preform at March Mess on Marh 10th and receive studio time from Rundown Stodios of Topeka Ks. and Stardog Video Production from Omaha Neb. - Hedway press release
The Overbrook Fair Parade is always well recieved in this small town. In recent years a thousand dollar prize has been aware for the best entertainment in the parade. This year's winner was the band Hedway on the " A rock on the road to paradise" float. Playing an asortment of music while in the parade that the crowd enjoyed. When asked what was next for the band they stated " We are going into the studio." - Overbrook News

A small town in Kansas is not the best place to start a rock band. But that is what we did, our neighbors look at us cross eyed and our fans do everthing they can to help push the band forward.
The band was formed in 2008 for a high school talent show, they played one cover song and rocked the house. That was all it took they were hooked. Since then there have been many changes in members but the current lineup has found the magic that is needed to have a great work ethic, take what they do seriously and have a great time doing what they do.
Our musical tastes are as varied as each of our members and we do our best to let them show through in our music.
