Bio

Nashville-based artist Heidi Feek's music is best described as “the swoon of Patsy Cline, the vibe of Chris Isaak, and the balls of Neko Case.”
Recorded at Welcome To 1979 studio, Heidi’s vocal jumps off the 2” tape it was recorded on. Rhythm kings Michael Rinne & Evan Hutchings, along with strat-man Jeremy Fetzer set the “past-meets present-meets future” tone of the 11 song debut album “The Only”. From the infectious electric riffs of “57 Belair” and “Someday Somebody” to the Tarantino-esque “One Night With You” to the minor-reinvisioned “Heartbreak Hotel’… everything about this record jumps off the turntable.
The daughter of country music visioneers Joey+Rory, Heidi was raised on a farm an hour south of Music City, falling asleep in her father’s guitar case as he made the rounds as a songwriter in the ‘90’s. Choosing her own less-troden path, Heidi’s music combines the clean, lyrical narrative influence of the top-tier music row tunesmith’s she grew up around, and the reverb-drenched heroes she listened to on her 1st generation iPod.
Heidi’s analog sensibilities once again show up on-screen in the eight song video mash-up that she says she made in “one long ass day”. Her lipstick-infused world of high heels and cowboy boots, negligee’s and vintage dresses, allow viewers to see that Heidi Feek’s not just another pretty voice.
