Lyrics

Myself as Suzanne

Written By: H. Hansen.

He offered his watch to me
But I hadn't asked for the time
And God himself must have laughed
At such an obvious line

I handed him his half a chance
We ended at his quiet landing
I watched his gaunt face look back
His brave way of standing

But I think of myself as Suzanne
A woman with many dreams and few answers
A girl with soft words and sad laughter
A daughter as good as gone.

I live vicariously
Through other's akward glances
And yet I wander slow
And yet I take my chances

Cuz I think of myself as Suzanne
A women with many dreams and few answers
A girl with soft words and sad laughter
A daughter as good as gone.
