HEIST! is more than a band and more than its music. It’s a burning question that rages, “How much wood would a woodchuck chuck…” – er, actually, no. It’s not. What it IS, though, is original Brooklyn rock coming at you straight to the facial unit with a twisted blend of hard rockin’ sound and funked out beats.
We lovingly crafted HEIST! from the finest natural ingredients found in - no, wait. That’s not it either…
…HEIST! was founded in December of 2011 by three native knuckleheads (who did in fact lovingly craft it from the finest natural ingredients- that being themselves). Tired of being assaulted by thin indie jams and café poo-lotta music everywhere they went, George, Erik and Jared decided to reach back to the musical styles they grew up with and loved. With original composition and the joyful aggression of the 90s sound, this band wasn’t just born; it hatched, and ate a few helpless bystanders.
