Bio

English singer-songwriter Helen Andrews began writing songs at the age of fourteen but it wasn't until 2008 that she finally released her debut solo album "Wishing for the Moon", an album of eleven original songs.
Pete Best (The Beatles) and Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull) have both been enchanted by Helen's voice and style of writing, inviting her to join them on stage to perform songs of hers (in 1999 and 2003 respectively).
As one-half of the folk duo Amalthea, she has performed at numerous festivals and venues, mainly around the south of England, and has recorded an EP and an album.
Helen also features on the album “iYeah” by Bristol-based electronic band “Glow” and has most recently worked with Pan Jazz International, giving performances and workshops around the UK, and recording an album, co-writing one of the songs.
Helen now lives in the Mediterranean island of Malta where she is currently writing a second solo album.
