Hellertrip

Hellertrip hails from Whitby, Ontario, Canada. With diverse influences ranging from Nirvana and the Beatles to Primus, the band manages to mix these eclectic influences into a style all of there own. Infectious groove blends with killer hooks to produce exciting, dynamic music that's as fun to listen to as to play.
The band came to fruition through a local jam night. Daniel Tinsley and Phil De Sousa jammed a little bit together and found they had exceptional chemistry that was lacking in there current projects. This intangible 'vibe' was strong enough to lead both musicians to disband there projects and go out on a limb with one another. The gamble paid off, writing a staggering amount of material, and achieving a distinct sound in a relatively short period of time. It seemed they had both found someone who spoke the same 'musical language'.
The following three years were spent accumalating more material, experimenting with different styles, and trying to find another musician or two to permanently fill out the line up. After playing numerous shows with another very talented local band, Phil and Daniel asked their drummer and lead guitar player to join Hellertrip.
And so the line up was finalized with two more great musicians, Frank and Marcel. The band now sees eye to eye on most musical levels.
Hellertrip plans to tour extensively through 2005 and NXNE is a show they hope to rock out in.
